Hues of peace
While wandering around campus of Jama Masjid, Fatehpur Sikri , I spotted an elderly gentleman taking rest peacefully against the walls of Buland Darwaza. The backdrop of red sand stone and white marble inlay work, made the composition interesting.
I pulled out my camera and took the first shot. The gentleman noticed me and smiled, so I went ahead and took another shot. Curious to find out who he was, I approached him and showed the photographs.
The gentleman Abdul, is a local guide and has worked at Fatehpur Sikri for more than 4 decades. Once we got to know each other, I politely requested for a portrait and he agreed.
